Amaya Rourke
Painter of storm-lit skies and storm-tossed seas.
Astrology for physical art-makers.
I am a painter living on the Dingle Peninsula, where Atlantic weather shapes everything. Making art through the view of a Skylight while I live with chronic illness, has drawn my attention to the storms and the stars of the sky above. Since 2016 I’ve used traditional astrology as a tool for living a spiritually grounded life. Now astrology is an essential, practical tool that I use to help physical art-makers create with more clarity, sustainability, and alignment.

From Skylight Studio
My first painting collection of skyscapes and seascapes emerges through a strange, heretical, layered mixed-media process. Built slowly while responding to light, weather, and texture. Original paintings and prints are expected in 2027.
